About Us

MINDY FELINTON IS PASSIONATE ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE, their loved ones and their pets with the complexity of legal issues facing an aging population. She has over 30 years of extensive legal experience in the areas of Medicaid planning, long term care planning, estate planning, asset protection, revocable living trusts, last wills and testament, powers of attorney, health care proxy, nursing home law, special needs trusts, guardianships, elder law and pet trusts.

HER PERSONAL APPROACH TO PLANNING goes beyond mere legal document preparation. She invests the time necessary to understand individual circumstances, objectives and goals. Furthermore, she works closely with family members, domestic partners and others to facilitate a smooth transition for their loved one.

PRIOR TO HER FOCUS ON ELDER LAW AND ESTATE PLANNING, Ms. Felinton was a Florida Assistant State Attorney and special prosecutor. Many of the animal abuse cases she handled have been featured on television, radio and in the international press. She volunteers with House with a Heart and Senior Connection and makes weekly visits to a nursing home with her two dogs, Precious and Pumpkin to the delight of residents.
