PR: Importance of Medicaid Planning from Elder Law Attorney

Felinton Elder Law & Estate Planning Centers Founder, Mindy Felinton Encourages Those In The Shrinking Middle Class To Take Advantage Of Medicaid Planning.

Elder Care Attorney, Mindy Felinton talks about the under-utilized benefits of Medicaid in tandem with Medicare for those with fewer and limited assets and encourages readers to include Medicaid as part of an overall asset protection plan.

Delray Beach, FL., August 8, 2019: Mindy Felinton, founder of Felinton Elder Law & Estate Planning Centers, has posted a new blog on her law firm’s website entitled “The Importance Of Medicaid Planning For Middle Class And Lower Income Clients.” Ms. Felinton urges readers to look into Medicaid Planning.

It’s no secret as Felinton points out that, “The middle class in this country is shrinking rapidly.” She continues adding, “For those remaining in this declining middle class, it requires every bit of intellect and wisdom to hold onto the hard-earned money you’ve worked for your entire life. If a tragic accident or illness were to unexpectedly occur, all of your assets could be wiped out in the blink of an eye.”

According to Felinton, “The wealthy turn to tax planners to protect their assets. And, Medicaid is rarely if ever a consideration among the well-to-do.” She continues adding, “However, those in the middle class and those less well-off typically have minimal assets and may only have Medicaid to depend on for their healthcare needs. It is my passion to help those who may need additional financial resources to pay for long-term care and/or nursing home needs. This is done through Medicaid Planning.”

“Medicaid Planning is a legal process of structuring assets in a way that is permissible with the State Medicaid rules,” Felinton says. She adds, “It is for those who are the backbone of America, those with fewer and more limited assets and works with Medicare.”
