Lantana Elder Law

Elder law can be a complicated area of the legal system. The eligibility rules for Medicaid benefits seem to be changing every day. Many times families and individuals fail to plan far enough in advance for long-term care solutions. Other times, other aspects of planning like irrevocable trusts and health care directives accidentally fall to the wayside and are forgotten about until it is too late. Felinton Elder Law and Estate Planning Center is available to assist with Lantana Elder Law issues.

Mindy Felinton manages this practice and has extensive experience with elder law. Felinton received her undergraduate from the University of Miami and went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. Since then she has been a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the National Care Planning Council and is a member of the Bar Association in Maryland, Florida. District of Columbia  and Pennsylvania.

Felinton is able to work well with clients and treats every situation as if she were providing the service for her own family. Her goal is to assist clients in avoiding dangerous financial situations with nursing home costs and the other financial stresses than the last stages of life can bring.

Every client who comes to Felinton is first evaluated. Felinton assesses the estate plan and the long-term care plan to see how she can be of service to the client to help them fill in the gaps or correct a mistake before it is too late. After the evaluation, Felinton will then analyze the family situation. She then combines the evaluation and analysis in order to come up with recommendations for the client and their situation. The recommendation might include anything from business succession planning and charitable giving to pet trusts and health care directives to last will and testament and power of attorney.

Whether you are looking for a Lantana elder law attorney for yourself or for a loved one, Mindy Felinton can assist you. She has had over 30 years of experience in the field with many different clients in several different states. Her firm is heavily involved in their community and even hosts seminars on elder law and its different aspects in order to educate others in the area. Felinton has not only received a 10.0 “Top Lawyer” but she has also received a Client’s Choice Award for Elder Law on the highly regarded attorney recommendation website Avvo.
